Join us for Parenting is HeartWork: a seminar & discussion of raising our children in light of our Christian faith. Exploring scriptural principles & discovering practical tools along the way.
Our time will be led by Shelley Melvin, mother of two, with 20 years experience as Director of Children’s Ministries, trained by the National Center for Biblical Parenting (biblicalparenting.org), and parent coach on staff here at Providence Church. Shelley also offers one-on-one sessions with parents if needed which can be arranged after the seminar, or at a later date.
We urge both parents/guardians to attend if possible.
A heart-based approach to parenting provides deeper and longer lasting changes in a child's life. It starts with some specific techniques for getting things done in family life with less tension, and helping children receive correction better. This hopeful seminar provides practical, biblical tools that bring significant change in a family, both parents and their kids.
Registration | Payment prompted electronically at the end of this form. Following successful registration and payment, you will receive an automated confirmation e-mail for your transaction. We will also e-mail all registered participants a few days before the workshop with event reminders, etc.
