Providence Church partners with CARE (Cultural and Relational Exchange) in China focusing on developing friendships with Chinese students by meeting a very practical need that they have to practice their spoken English. This is done by going to China as English teachers and developing friendships by teaching in their classrooms. Chinese students are interested in learning about American culture and in the process of sharing one-on-one, many topics of conversation come up naturally. Individuals who participate in this exchange are able to share about what is important to them, including their faith.

Our work their is 100% relational at this point. Those who participate in serving in China go with hearts willing to make friends and share the gospel when the opportunity presents itself. Many have gone and fallen in love with China and the Chinese people.
