We have just been made aware that the West Chester Area School District has closed their schools to any outside gatherings through April 4th, 2020. They are taking this step so that their custodial staff can have time for deeper cleanings and other internal processes.
Because of this and as we take precautions against the spread of the virus, during this time, we will be moving all Sunday gatherings to a digital format on our Livestream channel. We invite you to engage from your home or with others in your life group.
Obviously, this will look and feel very differently than our normal Sunday gatherings, but let’s not let that stop us from celebrating and honoring our Lord and Savior!
Please continue to pray for wisdom and for the spread of the gospel in the midst of these situations! We anticipate God moving just as powerfully as He does on any given Sunday!
For His Kingdom!

We'd like to offer some Pastoral guidance during this time in our region and world. As we hear about the virus, it is very important that we hold fast to faith versus fear while also engaging this situation as the people of God with the Spirit of God. Here are a few words of guidance and wisdom:
In Ephesians, Paul tells us to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (Eph. 6:18). During this period in our world, let’s join together in prayer. Prayer is
powerful and effective. Let’s pray for the virus to come to an end and for healing to those who are sick. Let’s pray for our medical professionals who are caring for others that they are safe and strengthened. Let’s pray for the church in our region and the world to have discernment and boldness in how to respond in love and care for our communities. Let’s pray against fear and panic and the poor decisions that can come from them. Finally, pray earnestly that the gospel would be proclaimed boldly as we point people to the hope found only in Jesus.
During this time use wisdom as you engage with others in this community. Be mindful of the elderly, pregnant, and those most vulnerable and use extra caution in greetings. If you have or have had any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 24 hours, keep a safe distance and stay home out of love and concern for others. Remember that we have our livestream available each week for Sunday services.
Live out your faith in this time with Hope. We have Hope through Jesus in this life and in the one to come. Remind yourself through reading of the Word of God. Do not surrender your hope to the news and social media reports. Let people know and see your hope as you engage with them in this time. We are working with the Chester County Health Department and other local authorities as we continue to monitor the impact in our region. Visit their website for helpful updates and health information: www.Chesco.org/coronavirus. We will continue to update you as we have new information that impacts our family. You may also visit our website or app for updates.
I Peter 1:3-6
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
