Book of Colossians

1. Using the idiom "a mind of its own," Emanuele suggested the Gospel has a mind of its own. How is this true when we consider the city of Colossae and the people Emanuele named in his introduction to this letter (Paul, Ananias, Timothy, Epaphras, Philemon, Onesimus)?

 

2. How would you explain the gospel or word of truth?  Ephesians 2:8-9

 

3. Emanuele stated that the Gospel can permeate any human heart and transform it. Share how the Gospel has transformed or is transforming your heart. Think about and share your one; the person you are praying for to receive the good news and give his or her life to Christ. Pray for these people and ask God to open their eyes to His truth.

 

4. Emanuel shared the idea that the Gospel moves through the collective power of the people of God - The Church. He challenged us to consider our vision for the coming year with regard to faith and action. Consider your vision, write it out, discuss it with your Life Group, mentor or spouse.
