Follow Along with the Message

1. What is your spiritual plan for Holy Week? Encourage each other to intentionally pursue the Lord this week. Read and meditate on Matthew 21-28 and engage in Prov's Holy Week devotional.

2. Review the story of Joseph (Genesis 37-47). How did Joseph remain diligent and committed to God during his tumultuous life? Are there ways you see God honoring Joseph's heart during his trials and tribulations?

3. Colossians 3:17 states "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Who is the focus of your work? Do you work in full awareness of your higher calling? In what tangible ways can you worship in your work?

4. Colossians 3:23 states "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men"

Christ-filled people work hard with integrity, knowing their efforts reflect the character of the one they serve. Do you perform your work with a sincerity of heart and integrity? In what ways can you submit to the Holy Spirit's guidance and direction to reflect God's love in your work?

5. God hardwired us - with heart, mind, and body - to work. It's part of our creative identity, built into us from the beginning. What are some ways you pray Jesus will move to redeem the way you view your work? Are there areas of your work that require repentance?

6. "For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them" 1 Corinthians 9:19. How can we approach our work with a mindset to passionately serve our Lord?

Christ-filled worker declaration of integrity

We are not lazy.
We show up on time - ten minutes early, ready to serve.
We work with excellence, knowing that everything we do is ultimately for the Lord.
We are creative and resourceful, reflecting the image of our Creator in every task we take on.
We are resilient, pressing on through challenges with faith and perseverance
We are helpful, dependable, and filled with the joy of the Lord.
We work with contentment, trusting that our labor is not in vain.
We speak encouragement and show respect to our bosses and coworkers.
We carry the presence of Christ into every environment, letting His light shine through our actions.

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you." Isaiah 60:1
