Jesus is supreme in revealing

Jesus is supreme in creating

Jesus is supreme in holding all things together

Jesus is supreme in leading His church

  1. How can the knowledge of Jesus' supremacy bring comfort during times of chaos or difficulty in your life? Consider what Jesus says in Matthew 11: 28-30:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

  1. How can the concept of Jesus' supremacy influence your relationships with others; primarily your relationships with brothers and sisters in the church?

  1. How are you doing in playing your part in the body of Christ overall? What does that look like for you? Are there any prompts from the Lord to be more involved in some way that you’ve dismissed? If so, why?

  1. 2 Corinthians 5: 21

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Jesus lived the perfect life that we could not live; offering this perfect life in a sacrifice to atone for our sins because He says we are worth it. Have you fully accepted this truth from Him? Are there things that get in your way of accepting this truth?
