Impact Senegal

Featured Partnership Global Partners

We have been a proud partner of Providence Church for over 15 glory-filled years. And now, as of June 14, 2024, Mission Senegal is transforming into an independent 501c3 nonprofit, Impact Senegal. Our mission is the same, but our look and name have changed to reflect better who we are and where we are going.

Mission and Vision

We believe every resident has the opportunity to thrive personally, spiritually, and economically through and within rural villages in Senegal, Africa. We are committed to providing families access to interwoven programs that build confidence, independence, and skills to thrive right where they are at.

Ministry Needs

We work alongside villagers to form and launch programs to help develop residents in business, social welfare, and faith. Our five interwoven programs help create long-term village sustainability. These include the Agriculture Program, Animal Program, Light of the World School, Ngonine Church, and Women's Program.

How is the Ministry sharing the gospel and making disciples:

The Ngonine Church provides monthly outreach events for local villages and hosts a bi-weekly Kids Club that serves over 200 children. Each Ngonine program stems from the church to create community impact.

Provide one story of life change directly from the ministry

Our women's ministry provides a 3-prong approach to a woman’s social, physical, and economic circumstances. In Ngonine, only 3% of women are literate, hindering their care of themselves, their families, and their personal relationship with God. Some meetings focus on literacy, feminine health, or business opportunities, while others focus on building community and providing a safe space for prayer. At one of these meetings, Ndela Kama came with a desperate prayer request: healing from dangerously high blood pressure. She had been struggling to get out of bed because of its side effects, so at the FEBE gathering, Ndela asked for prayer and accepted Christ into her life. Within a few weeks, she was back and fully healed!

Prayer Requests/ Praises:

1. For our team to grow both in board and program support.

2. For there to be no program disruption as we transition to Impact Senegal through financial support or otherwise.

3. For increased program access for villagers.
