1. Hold an open discussion about the times, situations, or people that have caused you to feel powerless. Was there ever a time when you caused someone to feel helpless?
 
2. What does Mighty God mean?
  • He has the power to accomplish his work and plan over and above any opposition
  • When it comes to power God will be with us.
  • Jesus demonstrated his might on the cross and through the resurrection
 
3. Isaiah specifically mentions two places Zebulun and Naphtali.  Discuss the significance of these two places in light of Isaiah 9 and Matthew 4: 13-14.
 
4. How did God upend the concept of power through the birth, life, and death of Jesus Christ? Note: Share the quote below if helpful.
