1. On a scale of 1 to 5 with five being the highest. How often do you find yourself worrying about things?

2. During his message Todd asked the question, "Do you think it is possible to know Jesus but not to be reliant on Jesus? Todd suggested three reasons why we become detached from Jesus. Which of the three do you most identify with?

Knowledge and experience The disciples relied on themselves because they had done it previously. Mark 6:12-13
We try to live up to the expectations of the crowd, self and others. Mark 9:14-15
Embedded voice or scripts in our mind that says, "Do it yourself."

3. Why weren't the disciples able to heal the boy? What were they missing?

4. Why is prayer such an important step in relinquishing our reliance on self?

5. What do you need to bring to Jesus? What have you been relying on yourself to fix or figure out?

6. Bring these things to prayer before ending your life group.
