Primary Scripture Passage:  Ephesians 2:8-10

1. As God’s “workmanship” (Greek “poema” translates as masterpiece; masterwork; handiwork; creation); what happens for you as you consider that you are a unique masterpiece made by a brilliant artist?
2. Does this truth change the way you see other image bearers?
3. After reading the creation account in Genesis 2:7, how are you impacted by the fact that God created the body and soul – intertwined and inseparable?
4. Since there is no dichotomy between your body and you the “person”; is it possible for God to make a mistake and put a person into the “wrong” body?
5. Dave and Laura presented three secular world views that compete with a biblical world view; discuss which if any of these you have been tempted to gravitate toward:

7. Asceticism - - Self-Discipline & Denial of Physical Pleasure
8. Dualism - - Material = Evil; Spiritual = Good
9. Recognizing that our bodies belong not to us, but to God, what inspires revival in our hearts which leads us to see ourselves as faithful stewards, and our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit?
10. Read 1 Corinthians 13 – what examples of God’s love speak to you as a motivator for caring for your body, mind, and heart?
