Have you ever felt anger through being offended yourself or learning of the injustice done to another? Is it sin to feel this anger? What are we supposed to do with it?
God’s Anger is His emotional response to injustice. Describe a time in your life where you've felt anger in response to injustice. Were you hesitant to offer forgiveness? Why or why not?
How did you first learn about forgiveness? Was this definition different than it is today?
Forgiveness:
“For”- prefix: completely, excessively, to exhaustion
“Give”- to grant or yield, to commit to another
“Ness”- denoting quality or state
Read Ephesians 4:32 and Romans 12:17-19
Why can we forgive others?
Read this quote: "God’s heart priority is not on rules of behavior, but on the hearts and relationships of people."
How does this change or add to your current view of forgiveness?
